1. Our commitment
CricJeeto is a skill-based prediction game, not a gambling platform. We believe predicting cricket is a test of knowledge, intuition and practice, not chance alone. This page describes the guardrails we've built to keep the game fair, and the tools you can use to keep play healthy.
2. Skill, not chance
CricJeeto is a game of skill. A player's performance depends on:
- Knowledge of the teams, players, and match conditions
- Reading the over's momentum (strike rate, bowler form, field setting)
- Pattern recognition across innings
- Bankroll management across overs and matches
Repeated studies of similar ball-by-ball prediction formats have shown that skilled players consistently outperform random guessing. Our internal leaderboards confirm this, the top 1% of players have prediction accuracy materially higher than chance.
3. Fair settlement
- Every prediction is settled against the official commentary feed from our third-party cricket data vendor.
- Settlement is server-authoritative. The client cannot manipulate outcomes or payouts.
- The payout formula is fixed:
coinsStaked × multiplier × 2for correct predictions,0otherwise. "Staked" means free in-game coins only, no real money is involved. - Every coin debit and credit is recorded in an immutable ledger we can audit.
4. Anti-cheat measures
- Prediction lock window: Predictions are rejected server-side once the lock window closes, so no one can predict a ball that has already been delivered.
- Rate limiting & bot detection: Unusual request patterns trigger automated review.
- One account per user: Multiple-account abuse results in suspension.
- Atomic transactions: Coin balances use conditional database updates to prevent double-spend.
5. Who should NOT play
